... Hi Folks ..
Running under the name JiveJunkie I have just joined your lively forums..
real name Steve .. age 52 ... I have only been dancing for about 7 months but have become a bit of an addict (hence the name jivejunkie) going from someone who had to be dragged to my first dance class by the wife to dancing up to 4 times a week depending on work / life commitments.
Not the type for dancing really ??? is there a type ??? Mech engineer into fast Bikes, computers, fishing, online gaming etc ... ... now plans my week around how many nites I can go dancing .... even getting work to change my hours to better suit my nites out
anyway nice to find such a nice lively site with active folk ... so catch you later ..... |

Welcome to the Forum, JiveJunkie. It's always a bit harder for the guys to get into Modern Jive because they have to lead the moves but once you get over the initial stages and start developing a few moves, it gathers pace from there. Like yourself, I was bitten by the bug and I'm still as excited about going to freestyles as I was several years ago. Apart from the dancing, Modern Jive is a wonderful way to meet people and I hope I can keep on doing it forever. Enjoy the Forum. _________________ "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."
