Thanks, Nicky. However, I thought you would prefer dancing to the Marcela Morelo one...I would definitely enjoy dancing with you to that one. _________________ "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."

Thanks for those SJ.
I like the Glenn Frey tune but I think I like the Candye Kane version a tad more...it's got more musical variety in it.
Like The Senders tune too but I can't see mainstream MJ's going for it though! _________________ www.ModernJivePortsmouth.co.uk

I would suspect so....did they sound good together? Did you like any of them on their own?

I've not heard of this but it seems quite a tricky beat to Jive to... _________________ "We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."

If you like thrash metal then listening to them all together is definately recommended, as the two sound remarkably similar; otherwise I'd give it a miss and listen to them one by one (I don't like thrash metal, in case you're wondering)
I particularly liked the Keri Hilson track, it has some nice structuring to make it interesting to dance to.
I don't think reggaeton is very suited to Modern Jive, but I was struck by the similarity to the Rihanna track, and wondered if anyone else had noticed. I suppose these tracks could be danced to, but the choice is either very slow Modern Jive or Salsa. Apologies if my postings are going too far off the topic. I'll try and make up for it at some point by actually posting some tracks that you can dance MJ to.

You're right Bungle, it does have a reggaeton type beat to it. I have danced Salsa to it, and it works!
Thanks for the links.... I shall have a good listen to the soundsnap site sometime
