I have just got the Pet Shop Boys one. Great track. Also got new tracks by September, Lady Gaga and Sneaky Sound System. Also found a couple of older tracks by Fantastic Shakers and Cigar Store Indians.

Hi J'N'K

I thought the Pet Shop Boys tune you played was a nice track to dance too.

A rather commercial group but they are consistently churning out some really good tunes and I have to say this latest one I'd love to dance to

Artist = Girls Aloud , Track = Untouchable

Dizzybee, if you like "I Believe" by Cher, you would probably love "Song For The Lonely" by Cher. It may be fairly hard to find as I think it was a foreign import. Also, to my way of thinking, the Noisettes one is pretty hard to dance to. I had it on a CD but found it just didn't do it for me. Probably just personal preference. Finally, I have issues with most of Alesha Dixon's tracks as I find they are too fast unless slowed down. Some people just hate that idea! Wink My jury is still out on the Metro Station one...maybe I have to dance to it sometime.

A few more for you :

Vanessa Amorosi - Absolutely Everybody
Sam Cooke - Twisting The Night Away
Seal and Jakarta - My Vision
Sarah Whatmore - When I Lost You
Chris Anderson and DJ Robbie - Last Night
George Benson and Jools Holland - Teardrops From My Eyes
DJ Space - Fox On The Run

Hi SJ.. I will have a hunt for it.. Are you implying I'm lonely then.. Laughing Yes I agree some of those are quite quick.. But you know me..Rolling Eyes
I can't stop playing the last Cd you gave me.. No 16 there are some fantastic tracks on there.. Do the Dj's ever play any of your Cd's.. Big shame if they don't..
I have just been reading the Age poll thread etc.. and what a great read...Iv had a couple of turn me downs in the past & by yourself SJ. Shocked but Im not bitter Razz You had been dancing alot and needed a rest it seemed.. and its always the 'Pro/serious' dancers as I like to call them.. I could find another name for them.. but you'd throw me off. Shocked And as Nicky said it does knock your confidence a bit..No not a bit actually.. Alot!! And veeerrry shallow on their part I say Evil or Very Mad I can see a cheeky verse coming up on that one.. Im laughing.. Rolling Eyes Dizzybee

No worries. Smile The thing is, Db, that the tracks I put on my CDs are mostly tracks that the DJs probably already have in their collections. So, of a night, it's up to the DJs whether they play tracks that are also on my CDs or not. My Cds probably can assist you on a request night when you want to get some of them played.
