Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8HPAhpPiVU

No it's not a new track but Black Eyed Peas launched Oprah's 24th Series with I Gotta Feeling. Heather showed me this video (I don't watch Oprah!)

If you're interested I've heard there is around 21000 dancers Surprised !!! Incredible.

Watched the link - thanks RichardP - how awesome to see that many people dancing together. The energy that must have been felt..! Can you imagine what they must have been feeling watching from stage! How the heck did they get them all doing it together, and from Oprah's face, she looks genuinely surprised... As she says at the end - "That is sooooo cool!" Cool

Wow YES! It's somewhere >210 bpm... In layman's terms that's Candyman sped up another 21%!

A much calmer track I like at the moment:

Imelda May - Big Bad Handsome Man [iTunes]

Quite Bluesy but very accessible at 121 bpm, released 2008. This is currently used on an advert for Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

I quite like this one as well, but I've not had an especially favourable reaction to it, the few times I've played it.
Maybe I'll give it another go tonight. Smile

Yes, same here; I like this one too.

Sure I played this last week and it went down okay. Hmmm, now I'm beginning to doubt myself - need to check!!!

I'd guess that a less favorable reaction to it may be simply down to it being unfamiliar... Question

Embarassed
Incredibly, I was asked for it last week - hence looking at it; wasn't going to listen to it "properly" until later in the week when I do this weeks play list... Thanks RicharP, saved me some time - at that BPM, there is need to bother with this one..!!! Wink

Up here? Was that me? I don't think it was - I wanted Ten Out of Ten which you played thankyou! I do think people who asked for Pencil Full of Lead might be a bit insane... Love the track, but even I don't fancy dancing to it!
